What defines a “good” company? A simple question that can be difficult to answer. Is a “good” company one that provides the most return for its stockholders? Is a “good” company one that provides a stable work environment with competitive pay and benefits to the employees who operate within the company? The answer to what is a “good” company can be simple, and can be complex. It can be different depending on one’s viewpoint and role. At Management Solutions, LLC we believe a good company offers more than just a strong bottom line. Adding value is a key attribute and is very important when defining a good company. Adding value in the lives of our employees and their families, adding value to the customers and clients we serve, and most important, adding value to the communities in which we work and live.
Management Solutions, LLC has been afforded a tremendous opportunity to add both value for a client and tremendous value to our community through performing Owner’s Representation Services for the The Restoration House of East Tennessee.
“The Restoration House is a nonprofit organization, led by Daniel and Mandy Watson that helps restore single mothers and their children back to God’s good intent for their lives. Through supportive transitional housing, ally teams, and family advocacy, TRH walks alongside low-income single-mother families, helping them break harmful cycles and regain hope and a future” – www.therestorationhouse.net.
Management Solutions is providing Owner’s Rep Services for The Village Project during the construction phase. The Village will be a community development project that will provide transitional housing for single-mother families in Knoxville, Tennessee.
We have partnered with The Restoration House for The Village Project since the conceptual stage to actual construction and boots on the ground. The staff of Management Solutions led by Sam Mayes, Vice President, has assisted the Restoration House (owner) ensuring the best value is provided and helping to see these concepts and dreams to fruition. We have worked in step with the owners since concept and design, putting the Request for Proposal (RFP) together and advertising, selecting the most qualified builder, tracking construction scope, cost, and schedule, and tracking vendors. Management Solutions change management process also handles any scope creep or contraction and protects the project’s best interest. As funding is secured and available, we assist in releasing the construction work packages. Being a non-profit organization, funding set aside for The Village Project must deliver the absolute best value and Management Solutions plays a key role in ensuring this objective is met. Management Solutions is equipped to handle expansions and additions if needed so the owner can focus on what they do best, be it manufacturing, healthcare, or a non-profit organization such as The Restoration House of East Tennessee.
