Juggling Too Many Balls?

Just because something is urgent, it doesn’t mean it’s important. This is just one of the many tips that author Stephen Covey gives us on our topic this month: Turning Chaos into Results. While Covey is known best for his book, The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, which sold over 25 million copies, his book for teens on the same topic, The Seven Habits of Highly Effective Teens, is just as relevant to business professionals as it would be to your favorite high schooler. Here’s his advice:

  • Habit 2: Begin with the End in Mind
  • Habit 3: Put First Things First
  • Habit 4: Think Win-Win
  • Habit 5: Seek First to Understand
  • Habit 6: Synergize
  • Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw
